Founded in 1994 by Joe Henriques as a miscellaneous metals fabricator, Gensteel has evolved into a full-service steel designer, fabricator, and erectors certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB).
Our fully enclosed plant in Erin, Ontario, includes a 13,000 square foot structural steel fabrication bay, with multiple overhead crane configurations and up to 10-ton lifting capacity.
We use state-of-the-art cutting technology, capable of processing steel plate of up to one inch in thickness, to within 1/16th of an inch of accuracy.
Gensteel has completed projects across the entire province. Our experience in working on out-of-town projects ensures that regardless of location and size, our service and expertise will be present on-site to complete the job efficiently.
Schools, recreation centers, community centers, hospitals, and office buildings are just a small sample of the types of projects that we have worked on.
The complexity of each of these jobs presents its own challenges from the design phase to the erection/installation stage. Our professional staff works together to ensure that these challenges are handled correctly and efficiently.
The more challenging the structural fabrication and erection, the bigger our competitive advantage is. The tighter the schedule, the better our proactive processes.
We look forward to working with you toward the conclusion of a successful project.
